Mm well probably cause there is youtube on the phone, I mean you won't get the same contact but it will be better resolution and not Chopiness like the app is ok but not an everyday thing, I which there way a way you remove it without rooting the phone
I like it. Not for me. But my 7 year old loves the kids shows and channels on sprint tv. It has made long car rides much quieter. Just have to bring a long USB cable or the battery wont have a chance.
I don't think it is available via wifi. I go to to many places that have wifi avilable and the streaming expereince would be so much better via a faster connection.
I love Sprint TV. Have been using it when waiting on something. I also love the Navigation app even when I'm not using it regularly, at least I have some tools that might come in handy from time to time. As for the NFL and Nascar app, I'm not much of a fan on both so I can do without it. I would love to see F1 and NBA app as well as coverage of both sports on Sprint TV. That would just make my day.
I like all of sprints app's. i regularly use Sprint TV, Sprint Nav, Football, and, yes, even Nascar. the Nascar app is pretty amazing... even if youre not a stock car fan, you should turn it on durring a race sometime... its amazing what its capable of.
i use it for free espn. I don't have cable and don't need it since i'm rarely at home enough to enjoy all the channels. So having free espn for sportcenter is nice. If they could just stream that HD version I like it even more.
I also used SprintTV to watch the world cup. But the bad thing is that you have to use 3G instead of WiFi so the quality of live shows (like sports) is kinda crappy. Its still a great application though, I am suprised Sprint doesnt charge for it.
I just wonder why the quality of tv.com seems to be so much better than sprint.tv. Even on a good connection sprint.tv is always really shoppy for me. Where tv.com runs pretty smooth.

humm? I'm in a suburb town right now and the network coverage is mediocre here. after I read you're post I thought I would try and see if SprintTV was choppy... its still pretty good here. Was just watching ESPN live and it came in fine. as usual, I'm pretty impressed with SprintTV.
I hate Sprint TV because on top of only being available over the cell networks, it doesnt multi task at all. If you are watching something, and click home to read a message, whatever you were watching stops, and you will have to re buffer to start watching again. Useless.
If Sprint TV had HD quality and good content I would use it. Besides crappy quality most content are few minute clips not full length movies.
It would be great to watch regular and premium content with HD quality. But then again Sling box will do the trick as well. Hopefully Hulu and Netflix apps are coming too.
