Help Deleted google talk app, can't download from market

OK, so I flashed my Samsung Moment (2.1) with Dream 3.0...everything is perfect but I went ahead and deleted google talk since I never intend on using it.

Well, apparently that causes one to not be able to download from the market. I can't even download Google Talk now to fix it. It keeps crashing when I try to download anything. I have Root Explorer and Astro but I don't think I backed up the Talk app. Am I screwed or is there some way to make this better?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi - thanks for your help :) I sorted out the issue eventually myself and this is the FB posting - you may want to retain this as it affects according to my internet research loads of people!!
if you have an android phone that suddenly wont download from the market

turn off the 'labs' feature in your gmail account on line. This is critical. Its under 'settings'.

Then read this
:-

Googlemail changes to Gmail but snarls up Android phones | BitterWallet

...and

you will get no help from your service provider 'orange' and HTC in my case and google wont talk to you - so how do they get away with this?? It's taken me 76 hrs to work out their screw ups!!!!

I'm in the US and have had a gmail account for years. Everything under "libs" is checked disabled....
But I am trying to download an app from the UK and I can't.
Any specifics on the settings.
The article you posted really doesn't tell me much at all unless I had a "googlemail" account.....which I never did.
