New to Droid Eris

hi folks. nice site you guys have here. just got a droid eris, complete with the update. been trolling around looking for a solution to an age old problem people have been having after the update. How To Sync Facebook.

ive been looking and most responses have been from like a year ago and some tips, i cant even follow on my eris because it has different setting for it. is there any up to date tips that i can follow to do this or am i SOL because (maybe) the update was never fixed to sync FB?

thanks for anything. im just excited with the phone. kinda want to get it resolved before i start thinking about moving on to the Root-ing aspect of the eris. Cheers!

Welcome to the forums, fenka.

I'm not a facebook devotee, but others will come in and tell you how they synced.

I have seen it posted that logging in to your facebook account and then setting it up as a contact in your "people" app is the way to do it, but that may not be quite right..

Don't have an answer to your Facebook problem. But as Im sure you have already read, many here are upset with many issues the Eris has , that they have not been able to fix.

Personally I think it's a great little phone, but the problems just got to the point where I had to get a different phone. I do miss the way the Eris fit in my hand though.
Only advise I can give you is read a LOT and play with your phone a LOT while you are still in the 30 day period(if you still are)..
Not saying you wont be happy with the Eris, because many are. Seems every phone is a bit different.
