Was wondering how I could save ALL my data so I can restore my next Evo exactly as my last one. I'm trying to save settings and game data like Papaya Farm, Homerun 3D, Let's Golf etc. My Evo is not rooted all. I have attempted to root before but the process was alittle more intimidating than on my touch. I just wanted to have the newest version of Fresh and the ability to have free hotspot but couldn't find dummy directions for it.

I know some have said I need to bee rooted to backup everything but is there a way to do it without root? If not could anyone link me to instructions on getting full root with fresh. Basically I need the best possible way to backup my whole phone 100% not 89%. Thanks in advance.

I have looked all over XDA and other sites.

You have to be rooted for that.
No you don't, but rooting does increase the ease and functionality of MyBackup.

Without root, MyBackup will backup your phone's data (SMS, MMS, Call list, etc), as well as MOST of your apps. What MyBackup will not do (without root) is backup secured apps and data relating to certain apps (ex. you will not retain your high score for solitaire).

Your best option here is to get MyBackup, and use it to backup everything that you can. Then download AppDragon and use it to email yourself a list of all of your apps, so that later on you can reinstall (from the market) those protected apps that MyBackup missed :)
