[Hide]Clockwork and sprecovery supported. Initial boot took ~8 minutes (longest boot I've ever seen). Everything synced correctly, market apps reinstalled correctly. Total sync took 15 minutes.
Speed and responsiveness with the stock kernel is the fastest I've ever run. Opening apps was smooth and flawless and no lag or stuttering when going through screens. No random reboot after loading or at any time when running the ROM.
Flashed jdflgs 2.0 kernel and got benchmarks in the 160's and the highest quadrant of 1693. Later tried jakes 1.2 kernel (wifi broken) and scored benchmarks of 103-110 and quadrants of 1811.
Scripts include blockads, free memory of 50, 75, 100, scripts ro remove stock apps. Reboot and reboot into recovery options, additional messaging options, additional LED missed sms options.
No bugs to report so far.

I flashed the SHINE theme and it was hideous, couldn't decipher anything on the status bar. The succulent desire theme is alright but I really don't like the frozen yogurt battery icon.
I was never able to get version 6.5 to work, so I can not compare it to previous releases.
Overall this is the most responsive and fastest ROM I've ever run, but the themes (specifically the battery icon of a cup of frozen yogurt) are pretty unappealing. I am hoping to try the SOMA theme when it is available, it looks pretty nice.
I give it a 3.5/5 (not available so I rounded up and gave it a 4). It is ridiculously fast, but themes and additional features are limited. Scripts are pretty basic. Elite if you only care about speed, but average to outstanding if themes and additional features are important to you. Overall it has a lot of potential, hopefully future releases will feature more additional features and a bit better battery life. Lots of potential[/Hide]

SPRecovery and Clockwork are both supported. They are also available on ROM Manager. The S H I N E theme won't load on ROM Manager, however, due to it's file name having spaces between, which the themer has been made aware of (I do believe it's his first go at it). However, it will work just fine from Clockwork. Initial boot up is toward the 5 min mark, and syncing will take another 15 mins or better depending on how many apps you have. It did restore the majority of my apps (I have well over a 100 and I only had 19 that needed restoring from Titanium Backup, but that included app data.
I've been running 3 different versions of Succulent Desire v.7 for the better part of this past week (Atlantis Blue, S H I N E, and the original Succulent Desire theme), and they're all pretty comparable to each other in terms of performance. With these ROMs, you get the speed that was ever evident in previous builds, but with a few extra goodies.
It seems the biggest factor the majority of users want to see is how fast the ROM makes your Droid. If that sounds like you, than you need to try this ROM. Succulent Desire has consistently given me the highest Quadrant scores and overall best performance since I first tried Woodyman's SD v.5 on 2.1, and this latest incarnation tops them all. The stock 800MHz kernel comes set on 600MHz, and you start to notice the speed immediately. Screen transitions are seamless, apps open fast, and there's virtually no lag. Once combined w/ a kernel you've come to trust (which for me is Jake's 1GHz kernel), you should see the highest Quadrant scores you've ever had. As I posted previously, I topped out at 1563 at 1GHz.
In terms of goodies, you have all the scripts that you'd expect to be in a ROM. In addition, you'll find the Sound Recorder app from the G1 and the Video Player app from the Motoroi. The newest feature that I like most, though, is the Reboot and Reboot into Recovery options from the Power Button. This is a nifty little shortcut that avid flashers, themers, and the like will appreciate. Once limited to just Cyanogenmod ROMs, now you can have that feature, plus the speed you've been looking for.
Anyone who's enjoyed SD6.5 might be interested in knowing that Woodyman has called it a "test version" of 7.0. But there is one difference I have noticed. Perhaps b/c of the newer goodies, the battery life has somewhat declined from the previous build. I am generally a moderate user and have been able to get a full day of use out of a single charge. Now, I've been using it a little more than usual, trying to test out all the diff themes. But I've had to get it to the charger much earlier in the day, since flashing this newest version. In 4 hours, I was down to about 70% after a fair amount of use. It usually would have been about 80%. This is not bad at all, but was worth noting.
One more thing I have to make mention of: I did get a random reboot. I was surfing the net on the xScope browser (just happened to be this very site) when I received an email notification. Immediately after, my Droid rebooted. No probs before or since. I have made mention of my browser randomly closing on many diff ROMs, kernels, and OS, which probably didn't help the matter.

Succulent Desire 7.0 ROM Review
Disclaimer: I initially ran this ROM without the default kernel, so some of this review will focus on the behavior with the 1150 jdflg kernel. I re-installed it yesterday with the default kernel in order to comply with the ROM review guidelines.
Initial Setup and Boot
After the initial setup, I'm greeted with a very, very long initial boot up time (around 5 minutes) and a weird looking boot animation. Not that either of those is really a bad thing, as subsequent boots were nice and quick. The automatic re-downloading of applications was relatively snappy with no Market related hiccups or errors. I found the default kernel to be surprisingly quick and responsive and the phone was actually usable in the default state, even while downloading all of my apps.
Appearance and Performance
I chose the default Succulent Desire theme, which appears to be a watered down version of the HexFusion theme, with the black notification bar and subtle honeycomb background. I must say I was rather disappointed with this theme. I don't know if there was a problem with the file I downloaded, or if it was intentional, but neither of my two installs of this ROM themed my applications. The framework itself is themed, as is Facebook, but the default theme remained on other widgets such as News and Weather, Music, YouTube and Power Control.
Performance with the default kernel, as I said, was impressive. Quadrant scores were a bit over 1000 for me, which isn't too bad. With the jdflg kernel, scores were closer to 1500, although the phone was very smooth and fast during normal use with both kernels. Battery life appears to be on par with other 2.2 ROMs, nothing to see here.
Bugs
After extended use of this ROM, I've run into a few upsetting bugs that I hadn't experienced with any other 2.2 ROM so far. While performance of the ROM has been great, the problems I've had are - unfortunately - turning out to be deal-breakers. The first bug I experienced has happened twice, one with the default kernel and once with the jdflg kernel, so I assume it is ROM related. When dialing a call, it will sometimes lock on a black screen. It doesn't show me who I'm calling, and I can't hear anything in the earpiece, but the person on the other end received a silent call both times. The screen doesn't go away, and causes the entire phone to be locked up and require a battery pull to reboot.
The second problem was a bit worse. This morning (with the default kernel still installed), the alarm clocks on my phone stopped going off. It went off one time, to which I hit the snooze button. It never went off again, and I woke up 15 minutes after I was supposed to be at work. I guess this is partially my fault for trusting the phone alarm, but this has never happened before. When I unlocked the phone, I found the Clock app was completely locked up. Trying to back out of it resulted in a force close that I could not click on, and I had to do another battery pull.
Conclusion
SD 7.0 is a solid ROM that seems to have it's share of problems. I will probably keep it on my phone until this evening, but I'm not chancing being late for work again because of application issues. The default SD theme, while pretty, doesn't seem to include common apps. Performance is solid, one of the fastest ROMs I've used so far on 2.2, and battery life is right where I'd expect it to be. It runs better than most ROMs out of the box with the stock kernel, and sees huge performance jumps with aftermarket kernels.
