facebook for HTC Sense - connection error, no friends and now...

...I'm being logged out of of facebook continuously.

Receiving a 'Facebook authentication failed. Please re-enter your facebook password' notification.

Anyone else?

If I Want to login to Facebook for HTC Sense it says the service is currently unavailable and if I just login to the normal facebook mobile app it does work.

Alot more ppl have this problem and it seems like a Facebook problem.

same problem here... what gives? sprint doesn't have a clue (Evo 4G)... I tried everything I could find online. reset the phone... deleted all the app permissions from FB and started the setup process from scratch. no joy. now only the Facebook for HTC Sense will sync... the Facebook Android app only highlights... and it won't give anything to be added to the sync page... this is nuts! the first couple days of the Evo were sweet and all my contacts were synced...

Now nothing... and if I upgrade to the Facebook Android app 1.2 form the market then I can't see the images that were previously uploaded from my phone in my mobile folder.

uhg... very very very frustrating. HTC/SPRINT FIX PLEASE!

There's another thread on this subject, it's a problem with HTC Sense and HTC are currently looking into it.

but what can you do about it, you just have to wait for the fix just like everyone else.

Friend Stream misses one contact out for me - tried clearing the cache, etc, still the same guy missing. Peep looked nice but had the odd annoyance, I've ditched both now and use the stock Facebook app and Seesmic instead.

On the facebook app there is an icon when you open it for inbox..

You have to use the website to send a message I think. Facebook on Android leaves a lot to be desired (excuse the pun)

Facebook synch issue - possible solution found

Log in to your Facebook profile and go into your Profile settings and enter a location in your workplace. Now try synch'ing your FB contacts on your HTC.

Worked for me and hearing reports of it working for others also.

that "fix" allowed the friendstream to work....still not synching the phonebook though
