Help How long does it take for your X to go from 100% to 90%?

Basically, if you got a chance to read my other thread, I was having severe battery problems with my X. I found out that if you set Social Networking to only update over Wifi, you can easily extend your battery life by a few hours.

Unfortunately, since then my phone has continued to display subpar battery behavior, especially (and surprisingly) in comparison to my girlfriend's Droid X. In particular, I have noticed that when I charge the phone to 100%, it takes an average of 7 minutes for the battery charge to drop to 90% (as indicated in the Stock battery status indicator). This occurs regardless of how heavy the usage is during this time frame.

This is particularly frustrating since I just came back from having Verizon replace my battery, only to find that this is still happening. Should i be looking into getting a replacement phone, or is this quick dropping to 90% behavior typical for everyone else?

Unfortunately, on the x we don't really know what the number represents since its in ten percent increments. 90 could be 99 or maybe 94 or maybe 90 depending on algorithm.

If its true that getting to 90 is the fastest drop maybe its rounding to the nearest ten and 90 really means 94.

Sucks that they won't allow programs to read the exact percentage.

Wow, talk about duplicate threads.
You didn't see this exact thread?

Just so you guys know, charged means full, 90% means anywhere between 90% and 99%, 80% means anywhere between 80% and 89% and so on. The phone only displays a charge in 10% intervals.
How do you know that? They could use a lot of different methods
80% could mean 75% to 84% (rounded to nearest 10)
80% could mean 80% to 89%
80% could mean 71% to 80%

Unless someone has done some more detailed work to figure this out, I don't think we know.

If the quickest drop is really from 100% to 90%, then maybe it's that first way I posted. Then it only takes a 6% drop to register 90%, but every other drop (except the final one) is 10%.

Sorry, I guess I was searching more on battery  My bad..... should have been more clear.

I thought it was if it was 100 then it was 99 to 90 90 is 89 to 80 etc but I'm just guessing. Which is probably why they aren't reporting every % just to keep us guessing.
