20 days. By then, as I predicted we will have froyo already and the poll will be meaningless except to congratulate me for accuracy.

I was told by two reliable sources, both of them said the same thing, end of July or early August.

It won't be a huge surprise when it does happen. Surely either HTC or Verizon, if not both, will announce it ahead of time so that its release is beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Okay now that we have a poll, let's publish it and we will be like everybody else on the internet spreading rumors. At least this one will have more people backing it.

Well, I know when I'll have Froyo on my Inc. It will be approximately one to two weeks after the OTA rolls out on it... possibly longer, but no sooner. Until then, I'm declining the update. I've got my Inc exactly where I want it... running flawlessly, rooted, and FREE WiFi tether. I'm not messing with it until all the "early adopters" find out what the 2.2 update does to lock down the phone.

Call me cynical, but I'm not trading my current setup for anything unless I come out of it still rooted and still with free WiFi tether. Don't need more speed (can this phone really be faster?), don't need 720p, don't need a different mail app, and I definitely don't need to pay for tethering. Anything less than what I have now is not an improvement to me.

I enjoy the rumors. So, I didn't even think anyone would not. It is like a mystery.... which source is real, what delay has happened....... awesome!
