What would that do for the Hero huh? I decided to stick with flipz 2.3.3 and inject it with nfinitefx45 kernel, including his custom battery icon with percentage which i loved. Lets see how this runs for now.

Yeah, I'm on the new Zenhero and am loving it, it still has a few bugs but I'm sure they'll be worked out. I also have the rotary battery icon with percentage and the stock Rosie, loving it so far.

Here is the one Kelmar made.. Even tho it is still a "work in progress" I like it alot! Thanks Kelmar! Actually, the screen shot doesn't show this, but now the battery icon "empties" from the other side...counter clockwise..more intuitive to me this way.

I don't remember any big issues (nfinite's dodexed rom), except that my BofA app wouldn't remember my device each time on nfinite's rom (causing me to have to answer the security questions every time). I hadn't tried using a custom kernel and OC Widget on it, so the speed wasn't part of my evaluations.

I'm currently using fresh 2.3.3, and have been using this rom longer than any other rom since I rooted. I was a big fan of ZenEXP, but it had a lot of things that needed to be done to it to make it "right", and it still fell somewhat short in my mind. So I guess that says something about Fresh.

Hey guys, believe it or not I'm still on Fresh 1.1 with less aggressive Gumbo kernel! All I want is battery life, speed, stability, and I haven't found a suitable 2.X replacement. I don't use any of the HTC widgets so I don't care about looks and add-ons.

It will take me weeks to scour XDA and read through all the threads, would someone be kind enough to recommend a Rom that has similar attributes?

I just flashed Fresh 2.3.3 and it's great so far. A little laggy compared to the 1.1 Rom + Gumbo but hoping to get tweak it some more.

These are the new OC/UV kernels for Sense UI roms. I'm using the vUV2 710 mhz kernel that is compatible with Fresh and Nfinite's roms, just make sure to flash that remover zip first then the kernel without a reboot between them.

Sorry for the late response, been busy with work and school. Fresh 2.3.3 is running amazing, stable as can be and the speed is beautiful. Possibly because of the kernel, possibly not.

nfinitefx45 now also has a "road sms" which is a keyboard that works with your camera so you see whats in front of you while texting/typing. Pretty cool, should check it out. Same link as posted above. It will be in the first post to the ROM topic.
