Root Any way to get the Droid X Notification bar?

The blue hue on the Droid X's notification bar is really nice. Much better than the white and cleaner than everyday black IMO. Only place I have seen it is in Fabolous' xTheme port, but it is no longer blue.. or maybe the screenshot was off, not sure. Just wondering if there is any easy way to get it on the droid?

Check out this thread, they all have blueish bars.

Also, if you look at Fabs thread, the display picture has that same notification bar, but when I take screenshots with my xTheme as well as many others I have seen, it is still white/grey.

They are not blue. They look just like they do on my phone to me.

Something is either wrong with the monitor you are viewing those screenshots on, or you have a color profile set to highlight blues (usually a "cool" as opposed to "warm" setting for gamma).

That being said, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to edit the xtheme png files to make them blueish.

Well if that's the case then how come I can see the exact white bar I have in one picture, but the blue tinted bar in another picture? I actually considered that same thing but seeing them both next to each other kind of disproves that.

I do see your point. There is a very slight difference there. I wouldn't say the top one has a blue tint but it definitely looks slightly darker. Perhaps different image capture software? If you compare the green in the battery the one on the bottom looks lighter than the one on the top also.

Perhaps Motorola edited the .pngs just before they released the Droid X.

I don't know why those two pictures look different, to be honest. When I hold my Droid with xtheme up to the image, I can't decide which one it looks more like. Probably the bottom one (with full screen brightness).

IMO, what's happening is the white notification bar is altering your eyes when you look at the green battery icon, making it seem lighter. It's only natural for the cooler, blue tinted bar to make the green seem less "obnoxious".

Also, thanks for that snapshot Fab.. I'm going to keep on the prowl and hopefully I can find a way to get that bar!! But if you could, would you mind sharing how the bar looks when you look at it directly on your phone rather than on the comp screen? If it is plain white like the screenshot I posted.. then i'll pretty much end my search now lol.

I can see a pretty major difference in color between the bars.. I hope it isn't just me!
