what happened to Traffic Cams?

Back on 1.5 I had an apple called Traffic Cams which allowed me to see real-time images from traffic cameras in my area (I live in NYC). I did a factory reset recently, and didn't bother to back it up, since I originally got it from the Market . Now it's nowhwere to. e found. A Google search was fruitless as well.

Anyone know anything about it, or where I can find it?

If you are unable to (re-)find this app, you might want to check out IP Cam Viewer. The author, Robert Chou, is always updating and improving this app, adding new city's traffic cams upon request. Excellent support (I get an update about once a week (for improvements, not always just bug fixes)). There's a Lite version that you can test out with a limited number of cameras (I think just two). I don't really use the traffic cam feature, but instead use it for home security monitoring. Works very well. Good luck.

well, I've checked out the two apps that were suggested in this thread, and they get the job done, but i found the format of the old app I had (and cant find now) better. here's why:
the app would show, via gps, your location on a map, and show all the traffic cams in your vicinity as dots on the map. You pressed on a dot and it would show you the picture that that particular camera was picking up.
much simpler to use, particularly when you're in an unfamiliar area.

does anyone know of a traffic camera app that does that?

Got it!
Go to: Traffic Cams v1.0.9 Application for Android | Travel
On the right hand side, about half way down is a black and white figure -- a QR code. Download Fun2D-Rabbit QR code onto your phone. When you open this app, take a photo of the QR code. Good luck.

That's it!! Downloaded the Fun2d Rabbit, scanned the QR code, and installed it. I like this one best because it locates you on a map, and shows you the cameras in your vicinity.
Thanks a million!

You're welcome. I spent two weeks researching it because it's so easy to use and connects with cameras that others don't. Glad I was able to figure it out, especially because I had NO idea what I was doing!

I'd read about using QR codes to download apps, but I'd never actually done it myself. It is very cool.
Thanks again.
