Root fresh 1.0.1 and facebook

i successfully rooted my phone using unrevoked 3. i unlocked NAND and flashed fresh 1.0.1. i know this isn't extremely important, but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem. my phone won't link my google contacts up with the facebook sync?
is this something that just ins't working in this rom, or am i doing something wrong? Thanks

Head over to XDA and dig around in page 80ish of the Fresh 1.0.1 thread...I thought I read about this being an issue there.

I had just rooted and flash a ROM fixing the FPS issue on my Evo last night. I found that I was experiencing this issue as well with Facebook contact and Sense. After some searching I found a post on HTC's forums, this is an issue with HTC apparently. According to a phone conversation a poster had with HTC support, they are aware and working on it. Hope it's fixed soon.

I noticed this problem also when I upgraded from a previous version of Fresh ROM to 1.0.1 Fresh. So, I restored back to the previous version and facebook contact sync works perfectly again.

I don't think it's the ROM, I have seen posts here and other forums indicating that it's server issues and HTC is aware and working on it.

I read those posts as well. But if it was the problem with Facebook servers, then why would the Facebook contact symc start working perfectly after I restore back to the previous version of the ROM.

It's definitely not the rom, I have a stock evo and my contacts list from facebook won't update. It's been like this for about a week.

Mine started working again yesterday (7/28).
I went into the Friendstream app, opened up the contacts, and refreshed it.
The pictures were slow to load though.
