I think what the ad is saying is that the Evo perfectly complements the iPad. The iPad best selling point is it's portability, and what can be the perfect partner? The Evo with it's wifi hotspot capability. Now your iPad is not limited by immobile hotspots, but the hotspot goes with you with the Evo.
I'm so tempted to get an iPad, it's really a beautifully executed device. What I can't get past is that I will have to use separate app stores for each device and therefore separate purchases (of apps that are not free of course) for each device. If I had an Android tablet I believe I could purchase an app and install it on as many devices as I like, is that correct thinking?

I wanna get one now cause of my EVO's tethering ability but for 500 Bucks i could get a Tablet Netbook.....Have the fancy Touch Screen Tablet and full Computer functionality minus CD-Drive
