PSX4Droid Working Roms Spot

So they finally allowed the PSX4Droid to be released on the marketplace and I've tried out 5 ROMS. Post what you've tried and what works so we can all know what to download. Here's what I tried:

Oddworld Abe's Oddyssey - trailing images, background messed up. Sound is good, video images at beginning work great. Trailing images and background are disappointing.

Oddworld Abe's Exoddus - same as the first one.

Crash Bandicoot 2 - images ok, sound great but verrrry laggy.

Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit - flawless from what I experienced. Sound great, images great, video great.

Metal Gear Solid - most disappointing. Loads fine, goes to the menu, you select your difficulty....blank. I've tried from 2 rom sites. No dice.

Overall experience, disappointing. There really needs to be an update so these roms can work properly.

Anybody else?

Hello everybody. I'm new to the whole rom and emulator thing. I was very excited to get the psx4droid emulator. I was able to the bios file. I would like some help with finding where the roms for final fantasy 8 and 9 are, and how to get them working correctly on the emulator. If someone could please help me with this, that would be awesome!

For a "free" app, you really gotta jump through some hurdles. I still have issues with the BIOS.

Games can be downloaded from many places, I believe they even have an option in settings to link you to them.

If you are using a Droid, they recommend switching to 30 Hz. Try that on the DInc. I'm not knowledgable on the options there, but Scaling Mode may need to be tweaked a bit as well.

Ballistic - not playable, background messed up, screen looks weird
Crash Bandicoot 2 - worked flawlessly..a lil slow but it doesn't hurt gameplay
Dragonball GT Final Bout - everything went well loading but it moves pretty sluggish. It is probably 1.5-2 second delay
Capcom vs SNK - it is pretty good. no lag in starting screen or loading. next best thing to having real playstation(could play all day with wii controller)
Driver - plays pretty good but sound got alot of crackling

Does the wii controller have diagonal controls? I tried mapping diagonals on snesoid so as to play Street Fighter 2 with my wiimote but it wouldn't work. The wiimote works great for super mario world, which doesn't require diagonals, but I need diagonals so as to haduken.

Also, is there a guide or something for this emulator? I'm currently waiting for my 16gb sd card from amazon so I can't properly use it anyways, but it seems like getting functional roms is a bit more complicated than the snes emulator. Apparantly only .bin files work, right? Is there a handy converter or a search term I should be using? It all seems needlessly complex.

if you press down and right at the same time it registers as the diagonal... dont map the diagonals... just the up down left and right
