Help Green blur in the center of the camera

Now that my Droid's camera actually focuses, I've been using it a bit more, and I've noticed in indoor shots that if has a rather noticeable green blur in the center of the screen. I checked my boyfriend's Droid, and his has the same issue (albeit a bit less noticeable than mine.) At first I thought it was just the flash somehow reflecting weird, or ceiling lights, but then I turned off the flash, and realized I could see it on the phone's screen before I even took the picture (as I was composing the shot.)

Here are a few shots to show what I'm talking about:

Using the flash:

No flash:

Does anyone else have this problem? Should I take it back?

I noticed the same exact problem, my green spots seems to be more noticeable than yours. Just got my phone this week.

I also have the same problem with my phone.
I noticed if you put a darker object in the center
of the picture, then the green spot goes away.
But if it's on a light (or white) wall or object
then the green blur is noticeable.

This is my second droid because my first one
lagged and froze a lot. I was wondering if i
could get a 3rd one or not.

I noticed the green blur when taking a pic of a white background under fluorescent light, e.g. bathroom. I thought my camera was defective but more people have posted in various forums about this anomaly. I'm going to shoot off an email to the Motorola people or VZW to see if this a widespread hardware problem or maybe something that can be fixed with a software update.

I just called and got it on the record that I was having this issue at VZW. They said they'd not heard of it and they offered to ship me a new phone... I think I'll hold off on it for a bit and see if any other things are mentioned about it. If it doesn't get an improvement then I'll perhaps take them up on that later but for now here's hoping that its a software issue and that the camera can get better.

The Storm gave me a new outlook on camera cell phones. I never really used them ever until I got the Storm and it then became something I reach for regularly. The Droid is back to being the piece of junk I'd previously expected from phones.

Edit: Especially in low light conditions (which they claimed they'd be really good in with their "dual led technology")
