Problem with replacement droid

I broke my droid (on accident) by leaving it in my pockets when I put my pants in the washer and I got a new droid through insurance
I signed in with my google account and all of my old contacts were immediately there blah blah blah reinstalled all of my apps.

But a lot of little things are not working right, especially with the syncing of certain accounts.

Before, it changed ALL of my contact's pictures with their facebook display picture and it changed when they added a new picture which I liked, now only 5-10 of my contact's pictures changed (out of >200 contacts) The other information on the contact page seems correct (links to facebook page, updates their phone # etc)

It's just a picture, I don't really care that much about it but was wondering if anyone had any ideas about it. Thanks!

the syncing with the profile pics is a facebook thing so check in facebook and make sure it shows sync with existing contacts and it might take a while to update but it should work. Also sometimes facebook cannot find the infromation with just the first name of the contact.

I don't think it's facebook, there are some other things that aren't syncing right either. And when I look at the contact's (the ones that aren't showing the right picture) details it shows their facebook page and all of that. And it's been a couple weeks now, I've tried manually syncing them, deleting and re-adding contacts, restarting the phone a million times, and SOMETIMES 1 or 2 (atleast I didn't notice them before) had their pictures added. weird.

Along those same lines, I am having a really bad string of luck with these Verizon phones. I had been on ATT for well over 15 years and never had these problems. Of course I wasnt using a "Smart" phone with ATT. Anyway, I jumped ship in December and bought an Eris which was a great phone until the 2.1 rollout. Then the phone went to crap. Had two replacements, both with the same problems. I finally got fed up and demended they give me something else. Ended up with the Droid. Worked great for the first week and now, (last week and a half or so), Im not getting my Gmail notifications and Im not receiving some text messages including ones sent within the network. Did the whole power down ,battery pull, factory reset routine twice. Now waiting for my replacement Droid to arrive on Monday. This will be my 5th phone since I joined Verizon in Decemeber. This is getting old really fast
