Accessories Not much in the way of accessories

I am a little disappointed in the lack of accessory announcements, such as docking stations, etc. Motorola is definitely on top of it with their Android devices. I hoped that since this was the same phone w different options on multiple carriers, there could at least be a coming together of sorts to make more accessories.

In fact, none of the Droid phones except Motorola really seem to have anything in the way of accessories. Mainly docks, and docks that can take devices with a case.

i hope this will work for the samsung fascinate since it is so similar to the vibrant

that's interesting...so it slides into the left side to plug into the USB (I'm assuming), and I guess the right side is where you snap it in or out.

With the announcement yesterday or today or whenever it was, that the Incredible dock will never exist, I will be very disappointed if we don't see accessories for the Fascinate. I know the specs are all slightly different for each carrier's device, but that's INTERNAL spec differences, right? Not external measurements?

Idk I mean looking at the AT&T version and the T-Mo version they look different to me on the outside.

i agree as the design of the tmobile and verizon variant are very similar

I also agree...and am very hopeful. The cable I'm not worried about...it's more "generic"...and the desktop dock I think is also going to be ok, but I'm not sure about that car dock. I think I can live with that. Honestly, this is going to sound so petty, but I've gotten very spoiled having my Storm next to the bed as an alarm clock. That's really what I want it for. That, and on my desk at work it would be cool to turn it on to be a picture frame. I assume that can be done...

So in looking at the HDMI Accessory cable, I see there is an extra port on the side of the HDMI plug that looks like it could work as a charger as well... my question is, since the Galaxy S line of phones only has one Micro USB slot, and that slot will be used for the out to HDMI Cable, how will we be able to use this cable and charge our Galaxy S at the same time?

Are you guys sure that cable will work on the Fascinate (Galaxy S) line? I'm asking because the Incredible has a cable that is micro HDMI out, but it is not a standard micro port on the phone...it's a little different. It takes a regular micro plug as well as the special plug for HDMI out. Samsung Captivate does not have the special port...it's a standard micro.
