I've just switched to launcherpro from sense, and the one thing I miss is the news widget. On sense in had three full page widgets devoted to it, and I need a replacement! Requirements are:

Full page widget
Multiple homescreen support
Simple aesthetics
Customisable news feeds

I'd appreciate any help you can offer!

Coming from DInc. I got an X now and the motoblur news widget sucks.

Any suggestions??

Not full screen, no customisable news feeds that I can see. Unfortunately not much cop, but thanks for the suggestion.

The AnyRSS reader works great for me, you can customize any news feed, the reader looks nice, it is not full screen but you can fill the screen with 2 2x4's or 1 2x4 and 2 1x4's or use 4 1x4's it supports multiple home screens on multiple launchers. If you use LauncherPro Plus you can set 2 2x4's and 1 1x4

I prefer using 4 1x4 news feeds, or 5 1x4's on LauncherPro Plus

Thomson Reuters(by Handmark). I have 2 widgets (5x1 - ADW), one for Top Stories, another for Tech News. They also have an offline download option.

But I have only been using it for 2 days, but i really like it so far.

No fancy, full screen widget but the ease of use and beauty in design is hard to beat.

It is a default feature of Home++, when you install it go Preferences>Graphics>Screenshot on Camera Key>Overide BACK Key

Basically I use the "Override BACK Key" option to take my screenshots, takes a little getting used to but I love the ease of use of this option.

Gave Home++ a try, has potential but as it's an Alpha product it just isn't as polished as Launcherpro, so I've returned to that. I wish they'd released the screenshot ability as a separate app.

I tried it too for about 5 minutes. I didn't like it although Like you said, a screenshot app would be nice

Agreed LauncherPro Plus is way better, I keep Home++ around because I like to use the screenshot feature. I have yet to find anything as nice as LauncherPro Plus

Actually I wish the LauncherPro Plus Developers would make the Screenshot feature a part of LauncherPro Plus. If you would like to see this happen also please let them know in the featuire request board at the LauncherPro Plus forums:

I'd invest in plus if they made the HTC news widget part of their plans. But it seems to be the only notable one they have left out. Which makes it a total waste of money for me!

I have to disagree - The application itself was fine, but the widget was shocking!

With news apps it seems to either be a good program with a crap widget, or a crap program with a nice widget. Or a nice program with a nice widget that only works with Sense. I can have absolutely everything I want on my phone. Just not at the same time!

I just tried this, it's not bad. I'd still like better widgets though. The only thing I would like is auto scroll. I just like things that look like they're doing something
