Help Countdown timer alarm volume?

Is the alarm on the installed countdown timer really really low on everyone else's phone? I use the same style ringer for my alarm clock and timer. The clock is fine, but the timer alarm is so low it can barely be heard at the highest setting, 7. Is this normal?

Mine is the same way. You can hear the vibrations over the alarm volume

Same here... Have you noticed that the alarm goes loud for a split second when you hit the dismiss button?

I hope they fix this soon...

Mine is also very quiet with volume set on highest level which I think is 7.

Does it get louder if you let it ring longer? I read another thread that seemed to mention that it would increase in volume the longer it rings. I cannot test this here at work.

Letting it ring longer does not make it get louder on my phone...

I can't believe how quiet the alarm is. I have no problems with the sound level playing music or for notifications, but the alarm is barely noticeable. The vibration is louder than the alarm.

Has anyone found an app that works better?

Just realized mine plays through the earpiece instead of the speakerphone. Anyone else the same?
