Are People, Phone and Messages apps HTC or stock Android?

Are the Evo's People, Phone and Messages apps written by HTC or are they stock Android? I have the following issues but I don't know where to report them:

  • People and Phone apps don't do landscape. Argh.
  • Messages app keyboard should default the Return key to "Send" message, since 99% of text messages don't have a newline. A newline should be allowed by pressing "12#" and then the newline key.
  • Messages app should show the type of phone number (e.g. home or cell) when suggesting contacts in the "To" field, and should know to default to the cell phone. Otherwise its suggestions are useless; I've already sent several texts to landlines because of this.

If these are HTC apps, does stock Android fix these issues?

Thanks,

Raul

They're all HTC apps, but I don't know if the Android apps have the same issues.

I can say that on my EVO, when I compose an SMS, I see the contact's name and number in the drop-down.

I dont like this either. As well as all my facebook contacts coming up when trying to send a text. I only want my phone contacts to come up but I'm not sure how to do that.
