Flash Player Question

I am not able to play recorded videos of of a website. Shouldn't I be able to since the Eris a flash player browser?

The Droid is slated to have Flash support in 2010. Droid Eris only has Flash Lite

Actually, that is not true. It will support flash video sometime next year I belelive I read in the Q2 of 2010, like Veoh or Megavideo. The only streaming video that works so far is Youtube, and some Porn site my friend told me about. Don't ask me what the site is because I didn't save it.

Some sites will work because it uses flash lite. Banners, ads, lite flash games will work but most videos will not. I've gotten a few youtube videos to work but they were all under a few minutes

Actually, both are true...Eris currently has Flash Lite (thanks to HTC), but not all flash contents is supported by flash lite, hence no Veoh or Megavideo. Youtube supports flash lite and can be seen on the Eris (and even phones like the Env Touch).

In Q1/Q2 (reports vary as to when), Flash 10.1 will come to most if not all Android devices. At that point, anything flash based should work fine...

I think as of now only Youtube works. The porn site your friend is talkin about has to be SpankW**** (figure out the rest ) which is probably the best and most known mobile porn site. Anyways, that site doesnt work either .

I can name you a dozen porn sites as well regular streaming sites working on HTC without any flash.
