So 2 days ago this new thing started happening when i plug in the usb charger or connect it to my car dock. When i plug it in, the phone reboots and goes to the droid logo/droid eye screen and hangs there. I have to pull the battery to turn it off and back on again. Once it reboots it doesn't seem to have a problem connecting, but after that and a f ew hours of usage it happens again when i plug it back in. I installed a lot of apps using appbrain recently and i feel like it started doing that after i installed them. Anybody else have this problem?

Welcome to the club mine started not recogmizing the wall charger not taking a charge or looping from logo to green light blinking.

I am waiting on my replacement of which i only have verbal confirmation that it has been processed but not yet shipped but i will recieve it by 8-4 sounds good

I would suggest you call for replacement asap apparently any new orders now will be shipped put by 8-18.

It is hard to believe VZ set no units aside for replaceing defective phones.

It does sound like a app causing you some trouble, Try doing a factory reset, see if that resolves your issues, if not get a new one. I always try to download apps with good ratings, look for comments that include that the app runs on the DX
