WHY does the screen not extend all the way to the bottom of the phone???

WHY does the screen not extend all the way to the bottom of the phone??? or WHY did they make the bottom of the phone extend past the screen?? It just looks dumb. It actually amazes me how engineers designed this and thought "Yes, this is a good idea" or "Yes this looks good"...too funny IMO.

Not sure what the developers' reasoning was, but I like the tab at the bottom of the phone. It makes it easier for me to hold by preventing me hitting the haptic buttons accidentally with my idle finger that's supporting the phone.

The one I REALLY don't get is why they left two empty keys on the keyboard when the spacebar is so small.

swap dpad for trackball, move it from right to left side, extend keyboard
would be quite nice.

must be a lefty huh?

Im fine with the d pad, but my fingers keep searching for an "enter" button while typing. When im sending a text after im done i keep searching and then just end up hitting "submit" on the screen

Heh, not necessarily. I'm a lefty but I think I don't think I'd want the trackball/d-pad on the left.

it extends farther because they put all the antennas there (radio, wifi, gps, bluetooth..) where there is supposedly less interference.

personally, i really like the way this phone looks in every way.

you'll also notice this area your speaking of is also one of the few areas of the body of the phone which ISNT made out of metal. its plastic so it doesnt interfer with the radio receptions

Actually, I said that as a lefty I'd rather have it on my RIGHT hand. ;)

Who knows why. I guess because I'm used to so many things that accommodate righties for the most part. :p

haha yea man i definitely saw what you wrote and yes most things are geared towards righty's.

its because were awesome.

Isn't the enter button the one below the delete key. i use it when i'm texting with the physical keyboard

yes it is, but since using other phones im used to a little bigger button that stands out a little more. idk if its just me but i feel like the enter key is hiding. hell, i havnt even had the need to touch the d pad lol
