Root Quick question

I went from 2.1 leak with root to the 2.2 leak, but I reverted back to stock. When I went back to stock from 2.2 leak I forgot to wipe data and cache through nandroid before flashing stock 2.1. There haven't been any ill effects, but I still like to do it. Is there an easy way about this without re rooting, wiping memory, then unrooting back to stock?

I had installed the 2.2 leak and then flashed back to stock 2.1 without wiping my memory and cache in clockwork mod. Is there an easy way to wipe without having to root, wipe, and un root again?

So you are currently unrooted? The unroot process cleared your phone's memory and cache.

*Edit* I looked at the RUU's rom and it only overwrites the hboot, boot, nv, radio, recovery, and system. You can do a factory data reset under SD & Phone storage in the settings menu. I also believe you can do a clear storage from the hboot menu (Vol Down + Power from a phone off state).
