Dinc to Droid X back to Dinc

That's not the only reason I returned my DX.

I also couldn't stand the fact that the wifi wouldn't stay connected. The speaker sucked. I never heard the alarm in the morning. Not even sure if it ever went off. There was a constant static when on a phone call. And the physical buttons were a pain to press, had to shimmy my hand into position to press one.

(And all these complaints coming from a Moto Droid user, although my Incredible will be here tomorrow)

I'm sending my X back tomorrow. The Inc is better in so many ways. Its little things mostly, but when you add it all up, the experience is much better with the INC. The phone dialer in the INC is much better thought out. It took 4 key presses to search for a contact on the X. On the INC the option to search is presented to you when you bring up the dialer. As are your recent calls. All on the same screen. The wake alarm sounds on the X were like from really bad Godzilla (or angry rooster) movie. whacky.

This and a few other things makes the INC a better device for now IMHO.
Bring on the Fascinate!

Trooper if you were in NJ where i lived and NC(where i currently am)

i would gladly trade with you haha
I'm confused, your User Info, or whatever you call it, says you have the "Droid X (the best phone out)" or something to that affect. Are you saying that'd you'd prefer come to the DInk side?

^ That's supposed to be a play on "The Dark Side". So please laugh with me and not at me

Ahhhh, I see. So the camera lacks a bit? I told my brother he should look into the DX after he spent much of our vacation to visit him and his family on my DInc. He would probably want to know if the camera is not quite as nice. He sends out a good 5-10 pics and 4-5 videos a week to the family of his daughter. I'm sure he wants the best quality he can find (even if we are just talking about a phone).

i hated the laggy camera.. took a couple of seconds to get into the camera app and also in reverse..

The crappy moto ui was 1/2 thought out.

I could not hear the ringer or the turn by turn voice nav... It was all but useless to use with my car windows down going 20 mph.

The bland washed out screen.

I could not get a non blurry photo.

There were a couple other things too..

Im sure alot of these things will be fixed with updates.

But when you have had a solid / polished user experience from htc, the droid x was a let down in that regard..

I did freaking love the huge screen...

PS.. Please dont feed the trash, its diet is $10 bills and out of town business men..
Is there any compelling reason why you dont stay in your forum, are you that insecure ?

I would have to disagree with most of this being a Dinc owner from day one and switching to Droid X a week ago. I find the Droid X is a much better phone in almost all aspects just my 2 cents

I agree with everything said about the speed of the UI for the DX, very laggy. I finally got one into my hands today and was thoroughly unimpressed by its software look and performance, the screen real estate was very nice and so was the hardware. (Definitely hoping for some 4.3 inch gingerbread/lte monsters for next year.)

It's just the poor performance which turned me off.

I mean its one of the better cameras i have had but i will say my old evo and droid incredible were great camera phones

I actually like blur. Your friend or brother or whoever won't go wrong with either....its just i don't like the camera but other people having this phone have taken beautiful pix

I agree with this...I had both the Dinc and the DX for a few days and I must say that for me the audio from the external speaker and the UI of the Dinc proved to be well polished vs the UI and speaker of the DX. So for the next year or so I'll stick with my Dinc (sorry DX).
