Help cannot connect to home wifi....

im no computer expert by any means, but when my dad helped me set up my stuff (hes the computer guru in the family) at my house, he set up a mac filter, and showed me how i'd have to go in and add different systems, and set it to "allow these systems only"

when my g/f just got her ipod touch and i got my DInc, i had to go in and change those settings, and i have no issues with it connecting at home

Thanks for the tip but no luck. My laptop connects to the WiFi no problem. This is drivin me crazy.

yes, this is exactly what was happening with my wifi as well - my laptop and wii were both connecting fine but the droid would not. Changing the settings on the router worked. given the fact that you can connect to other wifi networks means that something in your wifi settings on our router is preventing you from connecting.

What router do you have?

have you checked google with your particular router name and looked for settings that may need to be modified?

Some of the items in your router that you should look at are the following:
is your time zone correct?
do you have the correct MTU settings?
do you have the correct dhcp settings?
are you on the correct channel? Is that channel to close to a channel being used by a neighbor?
