Cool Photo Gallery App Cooliris

Sorry, I did not answer your question, Unicorn.
Cool Iris is a cool (no pun) photo viewer. Unfortunately it is not available for your DI. I have not seen anything yet on them developing for any of the droids besides the nexus. But, who knows. There maybe a similar app for the droid. But, haven't found it ...yet.

I seen this REALLY cool photo gallery viewer & organizer for nexus one here Cooliris | Nexus One Media Gallery on Android - The official app . I love this program! Is there one available here or somewhere that I can use on my droid incredible? or one that is alot like it?? Thanks for any help. :)

This worked on my Samsung Moment and HTC Evo so it should work on your Droid Incredible. It will take awhile for the pictures to fly smoothly on the first use, but works pretty good after that.

The app is called gallery flan: gallery_flan.apk - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

Forgot to mention that it will request permission to access your Picassa account because it will show those pics too. You will have 2 gallery apps, so drag the 3D one onto a home screen if you want.

Is there a link to the official place to download this from? I don't want to unintentionally pirate something, matey. ;)

It's the stock gallery app from 2.1, I thought. You should have it already unless HTC replaced it with something of their own. [Edit: It's possible I've been using custom ROMs too long. They've all had this included since the first 2.1 leak (which was for the Nexus One)].It isn't warez however, it's open-source. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=675128 has a link to download it for the incredible.

With the coolris 3d gallery (running on my Droid X), is there any way to tell it which folder to look for pictures in? Right now, it's pulling pictures from all over, and I only want it to pull pictures from the folder where the camera stores it's pictures.

you can create a '.nomedia' file (blank text file with that as the name), and place it in the folders you don't want the gallery (or music player) to pull from. I've heard it can be any file with a . (period) in front of the filename, and it will work. Note that if you put one in the root of your sdcard, it won't show any files from your sdcard in your gallery.

There is no official download, that was from a rom dump and has been posted on many android forums and articles. Here is one of the earlier sites (dated February of this year), but probably not the original:

UPDATED: Give your Motorola DROID some 2.1 love'n (Phone Arena News)

By the way, the 3D multitouch is the same as the Gallery flan.

Great tip!

Hadn't seen that before.

The gallery was pulling all of these .jpg attachments from Touchdown (email program). I just put .nomedia in the touchdown folder and it's all gone from the gallery.

Thanks!
