My Droid X and Macbook Pro refuse to sync together. When I plug my Droid X into my Macbook Pro, neither of them recognize each other. My Droid X doesn't even start to charge. Nothing comes up in my notification bar for my Droid X either.

I am trying to get music onto my Droid X. I want to use Cubed. Can anyone help?

Yes! I had this same problem on mine, you have to change the usb into storage mode only and the sd card will show up on the desktop then you can load music files pictures anything you want into the card. for the charging issue i noticed only 1 of the 2 usb ports not charge the phone try switching the cord into the other usb port... hope this helps you. :)

drop the notification window down, it's right there bro.

There is nothing there when I plug it in. I think something has been going on with my phone's network ever since a big thunderstorm hit my area a few hours ago. But I don't think that would affect my ability to add songs to my X.

Anyways, I am using the USB cable that is meant to be used to connect my Droid X to my laptop. Nothing is being recognized. Nothing is coming up in my X's notification bar. What is going on?

This is what I do when connecting to my MB. Plug cable into phone, plug into MB. A window will popup on the MB screen saying this disk cannot be recognized or something to that affect. Click go away.

On the X, I drop down the notification panel and there are like 3 options. Pick usb storage. I then click my MB finder icon and there is the no name disk on the desktop.

Has something to do with the Nigerian detection software. ;)

For me the X only mounts sometimes. If I try to connect to my MBP and it won't give the the connection notification I have to reboot the phone. Once rebooted it will connect and mount but it's kinda frustrating to have to reboot the phone everytime I want to add some tunes or a movie to my sd card.
