Is iPhone 4 worth 2 months wait over Galaxy S

Hi everyone!

I can get a Galaxy S at the very moment, but to get an iPhone 4 I have to wait at least 1, at max 2 months. Is iPhone 4 worth the wait....?

Considering this is a forum built for the discussion of android, I'm going to go ahead and say what a large chunk of this forum's members would say:

if you would need to wait for the iphone because of a contract obligation then im going to say you should wait for those 2 months for the galaxy anyway.

when i bought my phone i looked at the price one week before my NE2 was up and it would have cost me 199$ after my NE2 came available it dropped down to 99$.

there was no indication at all on verizons website, and no-one told me that this would happen. in fact the site was saying i would be getting the 2-year contract discount, but failed to mention that waiting an extra week would also give me a NE2 discount.

look into this option. it could save you some cash.

Try both phones out and go with what you like personally. Dont listen to the people who say X is better than Y, the reality is that both are good phones.

either way you are getting a great phone. but FWIW, the lady i talked to at Best Buy said she gave up her iPhone 4 for the Galaxy and she said she would never go back....and this is after owning iOS for the past 3 years.

gotta say, it looked like an amazing phone when i played around with it. slim, huge screen, yet still the size of a phone unlike the evo and DX

For me, the Galaxy would be better even if there was no wait for the iPhone. YMMV.

You need to decide what's important to YOU in terms of features and capabilities, user interface, etc., and figure out which platform works best of YOU. Two months really isn't very long if the iPhone is really what you want.
