I was wondering if someone could create one of those online petitions to motorola about the droid and the problems its having that not on the list to be fixed in the dec 11th update if someone does PLEASE include the bad signals problems its having i dont really know if these things work but wont hurt anything if it gets alot of signatures and spread the link all over the web to other forums then everyone email motorola with that link lol who knows they might get the picture the only real probs im having with the phone is signal issues like alot of others people are having here and at the moto forums, verizon forums, howard forums,

Go to your Verizon store and let them know about the issues. My phone has terrible sound quality when connected to a wifi network. When I went to the VZW store, they checked their Droids and found that they had the same problem. They then looked in the Verizon system and saw that this was not a known issue and promptly wrote it up.

Instead of expecting Motorola or Verizon to read this forum, tell them about your issues.

Must be nice to have someone that helpful i have been at the store and talked to this old bag she didnt do nothing for me but i still think this isnt a bad idea because i read somewhere vzw said the signal issue wasnt widespread enough to do anything about

Ugh I hate representatives sometimes, I've had spotty luck with them. Some of them are really helpful but most are just... Dumba... well you know stupid.

<rant>
I have to absolutely know everything about my verizon service and make sure I understand it. When I went to get my droid the lady almost made these unnecessary changes to my account, blah blah you need to change the prmary line blah blah blah... Look lady just change my Line (the primary) to a different plan and leave everyone else alone and give me my droid, geeze... I didn't really say that but I kept asking questions like "why, do you need to do that?" then she caught herself. I proably gave her a hard time with all the questions I asked, but better to ask rather than get bitten in the a$$/wallet later. </rant>

Anyway I think it would be an interesting thought, I think we should wait for the update first to see if they deliver (giving them the benefit of the doubt) and if they don't we start to get more vocal.

Online petitions are one thing, but don't expect any unknown, new issues to be resolved by Dec 11 - there isn't enough time.

The problems that are being repaired in the Dec 11 update have been around for months, and have only recently finished the final debugging, field trials, and final release documentation stages.

New, totally unknown bugs that are being discovered right now are probably about 4 to 6 months from being repaired via a software update - if at all.

There is a verizon rep where I go that has always been helpful and knowledgable in the ways of droid. He said the early 2010 Flash player update is actually a Android 2.1 update, So expect a whole bunch more changes then.

I think the Dec. 11th update are going to be mostly focused on the camera...no pun intended.
