Root Sub Forums for Themes

I have found a few, but none I am excited about...yet.

However, as a suggestion, it would be great if there were a sub forum for themes (rather than them being mixed in with ROM's) broken out by the type of ROM they will work with. I'm just sayin'

Agreed, however only if the organization or something were a bit cleaner than the xda one. At some point there is just too much redundancy/overlap between the threads on here and the xda threads. Personally, I find the xda to be messy, it think if we had a concise breakdown it might bring people here.

Yeah - I get brain lock looking at XDA - however I like how they break it out as Droid Incredible ---> Themes & Apps, its just not really organized from that point. I just think this is such an amazing forum that Sub Forums for the more popular searches would be helpful...similar to other Sub's in this board.

I was kind of thinking

1. Incredible ---> General Discussion
2. Incredible Root
2a. How to Root Incredible
2b. Custom ROM's
----> Vanilla ROM's ---->Beta --->Stable
----> Sense ROM's ---->Beta --->Stable
2c. ROMifications...
----> Known Bugs & Fixes
----> Themes (which work with only these ROM's)
----> Modifications to phone features (like changing Incredible Bar with Espresso Bar)
3. Rumors
Froyo Update Rumors
etc....

I dunno, just thinking out loud. While I can only imagine what its like moderating these forums, newcomers must be totally confused. I love this forum, its really the only one I have ever participated in. I just think with an 889% increase in Android shipments, that having things better organized would help decrease the amount of people making mistakes (me included) and create a better overall experience. This might fall on deaf ears, but just a suggestion. Hands down this is the best smartphone forum available and it would be nice to see it get even better.

Now the organization as you are describing is exactly what I would love to see. I can see this forum is approaching xda in confusion. Without knowing what or where things are, I couldn't imagine being a noob who just received their phone and wants to start playing. A lot of good stuff here, but knowing where to look isn't the easiest.

Regarding themes & romifications, it could be useful to have a bit of a format for a released mod/feature. Name, description, screenshots, prerequisites, known bugs, installation instructions, and where to go for help. Some guys do a great job on their own, but some guys just post a zip and say have fun.

This organization would be great. One subforum for all the stupid Froyo rumors would be AWESOME

Custom Roms and Romifications would be great without the sub forums beneath them. When roms move from beta to stable, it would be a pain to move them to the stable forum, and also confuse everyone trying to find them. Plus, there would be no place to move non Sense OR Vanilla roms, since we may see other UI interfaces ported over to the Inc.
