well i can see why pps are going for branded devices cause it's more efficient for them to get....e.g desire is available in my country for 2-3 weeks now and costs 400-440 euros..i got mine from an online store like 2 months ago for 530 euros..that's 130-100 euros more but i am glad that i don't have to wait for any provider to cook their froyo version...
so costs VS updates...costs rules :))

When viewing software information, the menu button doesn't do anything.
Ah, I think I understand what you meant - if I press Menu from a home page, I get a Scenes option - Virgin Media is one of the options, but I assumed that's because I'm on a Virgin PAYG SIM. The phone is unlocked - it works with Vodaphone or Virgin SIMs. So it looks like I've got to wait for the Virgin update - I presume that's actually T-Mobile really.
