Desire camcorder freezes and restarts phone

Guys when i try to use the camcorder on my desire it freezes and sometimes makes a terrible squeeling noise then restarts my phone can anyone help?I have just done a factory reset and its still not fixed it

im having the same problem, it started after i rooted my phone and have tried 3 different roms but seems to do it on all of them, havnt found a solution yet.

Mate i rooted my phone again and put the custom 2.2 update on it and everything is working superb camcorder working gread with 720p hd id advise you do the same bud

you need to flash the latest radio file
