Spent my morning researching and pulling the latest facts about Mobile Firefox. Turns out, it IS coming to Android (thanks to the release of Android NDK) but only after the WinMo and Maemo versions.

It will support tabs, sync, HTML5, CSS, JS, SVG, Flash, geolocation, and a bunch of other really neat stuff.

I Can not find a smoothe way to get my DT bookmarks into my Droid.

Browser syncs to igoogle, but my safari subfolders appear as primary folders. Gives me a list of BM's a mile long.

Opera syncs to my Opera account, but MY bookmarks are 3 clicks deep. Same with Dolphin.

Bookmark Importer states it should do the job, but my Droid won't load my exported BM files for the app to see/import.

Do you think my FF desktop bookmarks will sync to mobile FF?

Or tell me: How do I get my DT BM's (that reads kinda gross....) into my droid in a funcitonal format?

Using Fx as my default browser since before 1.0. But, I have used many schemes for bookmark synchronization. Manual sync, paid apps that synced between browsers on the same computer, manually uploading my bookmarks file t omy FTP server, etc.

The best, I have found, is Weave. IMO it is the most robust, and it works - and it works well.

If they make Fennec (if that is what they are still calling it) work with extensions on the DROID, my problem is over....mostly.

I only have several thousand bookmarks.....

I wonder if FF Mobile will have multi-touch.

It better!
