sorry wrong forum... what a great way to start on my first post >.<

EDITED AGAIN:

Hello all!

Thanks for moving this! Just received my first smartphone 2 days ago, and I am in LOVEEE! Droid Eris is my new best friend :) --- Honestly I find it much more intuitive than my PC, and use it for EVERYTHING. If only I could do web design and photoshopping on it (well) I could ditch my PC :)

One of the things I was really impressed with was the google search voice recognition and how accurate it was. I wanted to know if it was possible to use the google voice recognition engine OUTSIDE of the search for google... such as in the app store, IM's, documents, etc. Is there an APP for this by any off-chance?

** I'm assuming this should go in the app forum >.<

Thanks!

If you meant, is there an app that will do voice recognition as an input method, yes there is. Its called TalkToMe Keyboard, and it works pretty good. Its a paid app. TalkToMe Keyboard v1.2.1 Application for Android | Tools
