Prototype Droid for sale!?

Could it be to good to be true? Or is it the thing we need to root this baby once and for all! Just posted on Engadget was this guy selling a prototype Droid.
Anyone interested in buying it?

Update: Looks like this guy is trying to make a good buck...... on Nov. 19 he bought the item from this other seller (EXCLUSIVE Prototype Motorola Droid!! Clean ESN CUSTOM! - eBay (item 250532592207 end time Nov-18-09 16:49:16 PST))

Looks like the moto milestone, at least the coloring. I'm sure it's legit, but I wouldn't pay extra for it. Was probably a decent deal when he bought it from the original seller though.

Well, if it is truly a prototype, it has SU access (meaning it was "born rooted") so if someone gets it who actually knows what their doing when it comes to rooting, they could possibly solve all of our problems.

I find that amusing and I find it amusing that the seller states "Be the only one with a prototype" But yet earlier he mentions there was 5 made.

yeah, they always say that. when i used to work for a large game developer house in the mobile dept. our prototype razr 2's said the same thing... along with "do not photograph" .. which i promptly photographed.
