Help Froyo 2.2 now browser doesnt work

So sprint updated my phone to 2.2 and now when i try internet I get:

The Application Internet (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. [force close]

Data works because I can do gmail, facebook, imdb, yelp, etc.. and they all work fine.

Any clue how to fix this??

Thanks the hard reset did it. Just had to backup contacts (export to sd card) and sync accounts first as described.

Thanks the hard reset did it. Just had to backup contacts (export to sd card) and sync accounts first as described.

I have found a way to fix the internet browser without a reset go to settings and then go to applications and then manage applications go to the internet app and clear data once done the internet app will work again
