Root Which Rooting method to use?

So I searched google for tutorials on how to root the hero, it came up with a heck of websites. I've seen some websites, youtube videos, and well, each one of them has it's own way. I don't know which to trust, and which to use.

If someone could link me to a tutorial by a trusted source, it would be very appreciated. Thanks.

It's not exactly a tutorial, but it's the one I used, and I don't know all that much about rooting etc. Definitely a trusted source though.

I will say this though: before you do anything to your phone, do some reading and make sure you know what you're doing.

I rooted mine a few weeks ago, it's pretty easy once you get a little understanding of what you're doing. I can help you out if you want? What kind of Hero do you have?

Nope, not that I'm aware of. As long as you do it properly.

It voids your warranty, but unrooting pretty much gets rid of all traces of it, making it a rather moot point.
