So my old moto droid broke and I got a new one yesterday thank god but I noticed it seamed a tad faster, clearer but that could just be me. The keyboard is definatly easier to click and it lights up a different color and I noticed their are more censors where light censors are, maybe they added a camera in the front? The guy at the verizon store said only the newer made moto droids were getting 2.2 so that might explain some things...not sure courous to hear if anyone else noticed or if I'm just a paranoid scitzo...

LOL, wishful thinking. :D

As soon as the froyo update hits my Droid, I am taking it in for a replacement. I am just hoping for a Droid that will run froyo without becoming totally unusable every time I need to reboot it or just freezing and becoming unresponsive in general.

I just sent my Droid into Motorola because of those EXACT same issues. Would freeze and become unresponsive - Then I'd have to start the battery pulls hoping that it would become responsive again.

Awful. Once I get my phone back I'll let you know if they actually fixed it.

My Droid runs 2.1 absolutely without any issues though. Is yours the same, it only freezes up with froyo?
