new feature found in contact list or "people"

I discovered this new feature today... well, actually I should give credit to my son, who got his hero about 3 weeks ago for finding this.

Pressing on the contact's picture in the people list pops a little menu that allows you to easily choose whether to call or text them. It even provides the Handcent icon if you are using that as your main messaging app!

Just thought I would share this finding, in case I wasn't the only one who didn't know about it! :)

Yes that has been there for a while, it was posted in one of the threads a while back, pretty neat little feature

This was one of the highly-advertised features of Android 2.x on the Google Android website for about a year...lol. It mimics the Palm Pre's WebOS feature, which was out before Android's version of this...

LOL, You know, I never read anything that was advertised about the 2.1 update. I rarely pay any attention to any advertisements, actually! I didn't want to get all hyped, and then have to wait, wait, wait...and then maybe never get it. The day 2.1 came out, I finally rooted, and remain very satisfied with my Hero.
