Hi guys, not-even-a-newbie here.
My phone's just about to die on me and I'm now thinking of getting an HTC Desire. If it were a few months back I'd pick it up in no time, but because of the rumoured Desire HD I'm now of two minds. So a few questions:
1. One of the issues I have is that the Desire only has an itty bitty amount of internal storage space compared to most contemporary Android phones and this worries me because even on my iTouch i have more than 1 gbs worth of apps. Will this become a problem later on?
2. Following on from no 1, I do know that Froyo allows A2SD but with all the problems it seems to be having is it actually worth updating to Froyo?
3. I want to use this phone for at least 2 years maybe even 3, is it already too late in the game to get a desire now? What with Gingerbread coming along and all that I guess the easiest way to gauge this is to ask how do Hero, Milestone or even G1 users feel about their phones a few years down the line. Anyone?
4. All this basically gets me to the final question. Should I wait for the Desire HD? It's massive screen, aluminium unibody and 8MP camera are a real turn on but they're just icing on the cake, not my priority: which is longevity.
Thanks in advance, guys.
