Help Post 2.2 questions/issues

Ok...so I have done a hard reset

Got everything up and going and have some questions....

Gmail app: pictures don't show up within the email...it actually did this pre 2.2 as well. The pictures are always at the bottom of the email....why?


Alarm snooze/dismiss pop up.... it's gone...where did it go... i can only get to it via the notification bar.

notifications pull down: Ongoing : I have three items listed here... voicemail, handscent sms, and main menu for folder organizer. never noticed anything like this "ongoing" prior to my hard reset....and I foreclosed all of these apps via the android app management but this "ongoing with those three items, it's always there. whyyyyyyy?

Occasionally the sd card is acting up...i.e. i go to gallery and it says they sd card is unavailable but multiple tries later it works.


Thanks for any input guys and gals....i've searched all day but haven't found much regarding these issues.

I don't know if it's superfluous to the reset or not.

Well, I did try the suggestions you made for the clock and it no workie

as for the sd card...i did all of that correctly...it's strange...it only does it every once in a while

The only other thing I can come up with on the alarm is some relation to widget locker or launcher pro...so I am going to try removing those


EDIT: It appears to be widget locker! that is why it doesn't work, took that off and the dismiss slider came back. Repeatedly went in and force closed the above mentioned apps and the "ongoing" items went away.


anyone have any input on gmail? may try the stock mail application for a while...I have never used that...only the gmail app.

Well...tried the stock mail app...no Buenos. It doesn't dload the pictures at all. Really annoying that the pics all show up at the bottom of my emails on the phone but I will just save those emails for viewing on the pc.

Found it.... figured I would update in case someone comes across this issue.

Folder organizer has a setting in preferences called "show items in notification"

when this is checked various user items will be displayed for quick access in the notification bar.

I'm a goob.

Widget Locker Devs have acknowledged an issue with the Desire and Evo alarm notification and they are working on a solution.
