White, Bronze or Black?

Hey guys, I am in a dilemma. I don't know which to get. I've had two black ones before and they were creaky so I returned them ( One had a dead pixel). I have seen a bronze one before looking and feeling VERY sturdy ( no squeaks when pressure was put on phone). My friends black one is VERY sturdy no squeeks, it gets me jealous. I am just so afraid that getting another black one will be squeeky or defective.

My local store will have the white one this week. I don't know which to get!!!!!!

I'm leaning towards bronze or white. The white one i HOPE is better built but is there anyone who has seen it or used it? How is the white paint? Is the white one better built?

Thanks in advance.

a) wow this is in my backyard
b) this is $500 for something that I heard was not out - anywhere
c) this is not from g1tube, but I do thank you.
d) did you buy one from them personally?

Anyone can list this for sale for when it does come down the pipe, but until then I will believe it when I see it.

I did not order mine from them no...I used my upgrade as I have no problems with t-mobile and don't mind hanging around another 2 years. I have ordered other phones from them though and would certainly buy from them again. They are one of the sponsored sellers on www.gsmarena.com

iono what you're talking about, but europe has had white for awhile...

That's cause Europe always gets the cool toys before the US. (snicker) But seriously they say here in the US that the white has paint chipping issues. Lucky you guys.

Have you seen a white one? I am curious what the daytime keyboard lights look like b/c the white and bronze have lighter keyboards than the black of the black ver. Your opinion is valued on this matter.

Interesting how regionalized their rollout plan is this time around.

HTC - You are right, white is around. As a long time customer I am apt to use my discount though. (Though from reading these forums it seems calling Tmobile Business Direct is an even better option.)

i hate it when i argue with people and they just give in and say "oh, you're right"... cuz then alot of times i feel bad for being a jerk to a nice guy.

damn it.

after seeing the white one in person, it is by far the better looking one compared to the black or the bronze.
For me I would rate the white, then the black then the bronze.

Also the white had a more solid feel to it. Too bad I had a preorder so I had to return my black one back and wait for the white to be shipped.

Although I got tempted to just cough out the money at the store to get one! :D

As we developed Android apps, we have several G1s at the office. As we are based in Belgium and France, we had them shipped from the US. As said in this thread, this is true: the 2 black ones we have make strange sounds when we push the screen. I personaly own a bronze G1, and it does not have this problem. Still I do not understand how the color can change anything...

I believe the reason for the bronze ones do have less problems is because T-mobile mass produced the black ones. This resulted in cheaper and a poor build because of a rush to make more black ones for the higher demand. The bronze on the other hand seems flawless. My white one has the screen creak problem.

Good to hear the bronze is solidly built, thank you.

What apps do you develop?

Thanks for the news on the white one having the issue.
