Help Auto callback of last # in phone log when plugging in headphones?

I have a pair of Dr Dre Beats Solo headphones. Theses are equipped with a mic and inline controls for answering calls/pausing the music. The problem I have with my DX is that when I plug in the headphones, it will automatically dial the most recent # in my call log.

Anyone else have this issue? Is there a setting somewhere and I just cant find it?

Also the Mic inline does not work, it uses the phones mic from what I can tell.

Any thoughts?

Mine did the same thing, ended up calling someone 3 times because of it. I rarely use headphones so its not a major issue but it would be nice if someone knows a fix.

Stopped by the verizon store on my way home today and the little cheap headphones with inline mic and controls worked flawlessly. Apparently my issue is just with the Beats line of headphones. I am assuming there is something in the way the plug is shaped that is causing this. What headphones do you use that have this problem?

I used to randomly have this problem when I pushed the voice dial button on my jawbone icon. Hasn't done it in a while now though.

Mine was just a random pair of headphones I needed to test if they worked or not, didn't have any other device I could plug them in to so I plugged them into my phone and it dialed a number...
