Help Widgets to replace sense's WiFi/GPS/BT/Profile/Airplane mode toggle

I use Dazzle Configurable Switcher. Works awesome and gives you one touch options to change volume levels.

Dazzle's downfall is its inability to turn on and off GPS with one touch. I use my GPS widget from HTC in the car all the time, and won't settle for an extra 2 steps.

Does anyone know of a widget that works exactly like HTC's GPS widget? It's the only thing holding me back from permanently switching to LauncherPro.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried it. I find the buttons too close together and I hate that it doesn't adjust the widget size to the number of functions you use. It is pretty ugly if you don't use all the slots, which I don't. Not willing to pay full price since there are superior paid widgets out there.

I take it you looked at Extended Control? It looks like the Power Control widget that's already installed, but you can choose from a slew of system/color options and the GPS can be controlled with one touch.

I paid only a buck for it :).

In searching Google, I found Quick Settings which allows you to toggle many main functions by either pulling down the notification bar or long-pressing search. Best of all, it's free! I may give it a go and see if I find the 2-step access sufficient, because it's nice to not use home screen space on all the toggle widgets.

Just dl'ed it. Its not bad at all, but it feels like too many steps for me (drag down, select, flip toggles) as opposed to just touch and boom.

I agree with saving home screen space tho.

I'm with you, except if you do the search long-press, it eliminates a big step. Almost the same as having a widget, because with QS you don't need to first get to your widget home screen. Instead, you can toggle by long-pressing search button from anywhere on your phone.

Very valid point! I'll give it another go. You think it's a keeper?

I'm going to give it a go for a few days and see how I like it on a regular basis. My biggest use for toggle widgets is GPS and BT while driving, so I'll see if I find this quick enough or if I think the actual widget on my lock screen (I use WidgetLocker, which is amazing and allows widgets) is necessary. I just don't have much space on the lock screen, so I'd much prefer this route.

Gotcha. Hope it works out well for you.:)

I think it's an HTC thing because the Beautiful GPS widget has the same issue.
