Hello.

I am thinking of using the app 'Easy Root' to root my phone. This is my first time and I am a bit unclear on things I should do prior. I have backed up my pictures/music/contacts. Anything else? Also is there anyways I can tell if my phone will work properly after I root?

Kind regards, Kenny.

...uh, a crystal ball?

Seriously though, I just used Easy Root today and it SEEMED to work without a hitch. Super Duper Easy.

While (as far as I know) Easy Root is no longer on the Market, there is still an Easy Root Compatibility app that you can run, to see if your phone will be rootable...and the app will take you to Unstable Apps blog to download the main apk if everything checks out. Be warned, you need to make at least a 99 cent donation in order to get a key to finalize the product.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, just a question will I need to install any ROMS or any sort like that ( not too sure what ROMS are) or do i just download the APK and install then its done?

No, you don't need to do anything special at all. Go to the marketplace and search Easy Root. All that you will find is the Easy Root Compatibility app. Download that and run it to see if your phone is compatible.
The app will then direct you to where you can download the real program. You do have to make at least a 99 cent payment. I used paypal. You will then receive an email with a key to finalize the product. After that its run the app and yer done.
