There are laws of physics at work here. Seido's 1750 battery has been debunked a couple times as only being really around 1500 mAh. That's why it fits in the stock battery compartment.

It's kind of like saying, "I have a gallon container of water. Why can't a company put a gallon and a half in there?"

I'm getting the extra larger battery, but I want the ability to charge one of them outside of the phone. Otherwise, my phone will be tied up twice as long just charging both batteries if I alternate between them.

Having an extra battery or 2 helps a lot, but not having a method to charge it other than the phone makes it a bit difficult.

This is shown everywhere as 1840MAh, evn on the Verizon Wireless website....but you are in fact correct. The battery sold by Verizon is an original Motorola issue extended battery at 1880 mAh.

That is 25.3333% increase of mAh.

It comes with a new battery cover. It adds the slightest bit of thickness to it, you really cannot notice it. The phone still fits in the Motorola desk dock and Motorola car mount. It also fits fine in the silicone cover sold by Verizon.

The one strange thing with this batterery is that the box it came in states that it is a 1930 mAh battery. That is just kinda nuts.

The extended battery is rated as 1880 min, and 1930 typical.
The regular battery is rated as 1500 min, and 1540 typical.

I just received the extended battery, and it will fit with the standard door with a little bit of effort.
