I didnt buy my phone for gaming, and i love my phone for everything else it does.

I agree the utility type apps are superior on this platform, but i really miss the entertainment apps on my iPhone. Can anyone suggest a few good ones?

I have tried a few Tank games, but they were nothing like the experience i loved playing iShoot on the other phone.

I downloaded something called Gears?? I just see things spinning, couldnt figure out how to ad more gears, or design my own, so i uninstalled it

Slot machine is cool, but sort of boring.

Jewels really isn't as smooth as Bejeweled2 on iphone. Or is there another one for this phone?

Paper Toss is pretty cool

What else can someone recommend?

Backgammon Lite
basketball Shot
coloroid
cribbage pro
droid mini golf
grid droid
let's golf (Pd app 2rd party)
mPuzzle (number puzzles)
traffic jam
YahtC classic
Air control
bonsai blast
graviturn
laser reflections
live holdem (poker)
penguin
trap!
shot 3
WordUp! (*** THIS ONE IS FOR MUSKY, I play it a lot... it isn't Bookworm deluxe BUT best so far for me******** attn Musky!!!!!***)

All have free downloads except the 1 I noted. Most have a ad free or expanded paid version that i have not tried except cribbage pro.

There are a ton of games. Go to AppBrain.com and look around.

As for which ones are "good," I suppose it all depends on what type of games you like.

Here are some that I like:

Puzzle games:

Arcade style games:

Both

and

let you basically play pictionary with other users online.

How about Pole Position, or N4S? I cant find them

I used to love them both on my iphone

wtf??! You asked for some game suggestions and you have at least 20 suggestions here. Then you ask for two specific games?!?!

1. Why didn't you just say that's what you wanted in the first place?

2. Why didn't you just look for those titles in the Market??

I see a lot of the suggestions, most of which wouldnt interest me, a few of them i have noted so i can download the hell outta them later on (at work right now)

And while i was thinking about games i remembered 2 games that i loved from my iphone, so posted it. Wth did i do something wrong? lol

PS, yes i have looked ... when searching for Pole Position, i get a list of sex apps.

need for speed, gives me nothing

AnotherHiggins: Thanks for suggesting "WordUp" I have been trying to find a good word game. I am addicted to Popcap's "Bookworm Deluxe", but so far it doesn't look like it's available for Android. I did manage to get it on my daughter's Blackberry though.

WordUp is the closest I've seen so far, Thanks again!

You might have noticed that I also suggested WordUp in the post BEFORE his.

I crave credit.

lol

Another: You were late. Make any excuses you wish, but you came in 2nd.

Second by 5 minutes, yes. One might argue more helpful, better organized, lengthier and all around better.

But you choose whatever criteria you need to feel good about yourself. (tongue planted firmly in cheek. I'm not a flame war kinda guy)

@Musky: Happy to help - along with FramCire, of course.
