Squared off eye...they are running thin on ideas to use with the Droid theme.

I know....I feel the same....Soon it will become like WinMo with endless versions of the same boot animation....remember this (lol):

Yeah...u could find those APKs in the system dump...although I doubt they would work as they are meant for Droid 2 Framework ...perhaps as more devs download and play with it we might see some ports to our device being made...
but as of now live Wally and boot animation only thing reported working :)
I will update if ports start to come in from devs

I copied the attachment and then emailed to myself, downloaded to my phone, but it says it cannot find the application to open the file. Which app do I need?

What exactly is a system dump?

If u mean the live wallpaper ..u need a file manager like Astro file manager ...its free.
Easiest way to do it is:
Click on the download link.
download it straight to ur phone.
Then once its done find it on ur phone, or just click on the done downloading notifications in ur notification bar and install :)

And the system dump is the entire system/all files on the Droid 2....unless ur an advanced user u wouldn't need to download it.

I appreciate the insight.

I downloaded Asto File Manager, then went into my email and downloaded the link. I found it on Astro File manager, but I have no way of "installing" it.

If for no other reason than to learn how to do this, what am I missing?

When u locate the file with astro file manager, click on it and astro menu will pop up...click on open app manager...and then click install :)

Downloaded
I click on Astro File
Scroll to the bottom to Yahoo and I click on it
Next screen YMail comes up, I click that
Next screen is ymail_systemcache_1, I click on that
Next Screen is att_4_bootanimation, click on that
and then 3 files show up:

desc
part0
part1

If I click and hold any of them I get:
Details
edit
bookmark
set as home

nothing of the sort for Install.
