So I have notice blockbuster is on the droid 2. I was woundering if its possible to connect the droid 2 to a tv and watch movies that way?

Unlike the Droid X the Droid 2 does not have an HDMI port. So I don't see any way to connect it to a TV right now, the only port it has is the charger port which I think is a mini USB but I could be wrong. But regardless I don't think it will allow any Droid to TV connection.

Actually I have found out something. There is an pre installed app called DLNA, wich does allow you transfer media to another DLNA device. Have not got it to work yet. but I think if you had a video on you droid you can transfer and watch it on a computer or another DLNA device. But I dont think that applies to the stuff you get from blockbuster. not sure how the blockbuster app works yet. Have not bought anything from it. dont know if a movie streams one time, or if it can be saved to the phone. there is another app called media share in the menu, but It takes you to the DLNA app. From what I can tell. It does it through wifi, wich should work well I would think, especially if its an n network.

You couldn't play Blockbuster stuff on a TV even with a Droid X with HDMI due to licensing restrictions from Blockbuster. My understanding is that anything you could put on a TV with HDMI, you can put on a TV with DLNA. You just need a DLNA device connected to your tv, like an xbox or a ps3. I've gotten this to work with music, but I haven't tried videos yet.
